Routeburn Track

Phrased ‘Beautiful beyond words’ , Routeburn track is one of the places on earth where you are up close to paradise.  Routeburn is a 32 KM , 2-4 days track  and is one of the 9 great walks in New Zealand.  Known for stunning alpine scenery and breathtaking views, Routeburn track is excellent for day trips as well as multi day tramps.  If you don’t believe in words, see for yourself

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • It is a self guided trip requiring good level of fitness as you will be carrying an approximately 10 kg backpack through out the track.
  • Most walkers walk the track comfortably over 3 days and 2 nights. Track can be done in either direction
  • Overnight accommodation is in Department of Conservation NZ huts and is of dormitory bunk bed style. Every tramper is required to bring their own sleeping bags and  are required to carry their own food supplies.
  • Routeburn track has its own micro climate and susceptible to unexpected weather changes. Your safety is your own responsibility.  Refer to Track Description and Safety Guidelines on DOC, NZ website for more information.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
  • 2 nights (Pre and Post track) accommodation in Queenstown
  • 2 nights accommodation in on track DOC huts
  • Transport from and to Queenstown
CUSTOMIZE IT
  • Add a trip to Milford Sound at the end of the track with overnight accommodation at Milford Sound.
  • Continue on to another destination instead of returning to Queenstown
  • You can convert the trip to a guided trip which only require you to carry a small day pack and your luggage is transported to the overnight accommodation.  As a part of guided trip, accommodation is provided in private rooms.
